As you know from my earlier blog posts I’ve been working here a few months now and it still amazes me that some people who come into our HQ think we only sell balloons.  Well now I think they’ll cotton on as we unveil our beautiful new shopfront.

It’s a project that’s been in the pipeline for a while now ever since we acquired our next door neigbours property and to be honest, we’re ecstatic that it’s finally here.

Customers can now come in and have a walk around selecting the flowers they want and have a bit of a ‘natter’ with the staff. You never know if you’re really lucky you might get a cup of tea as well, how’s that?

P.S. We promise to upload some more pictures soon… Especially at night as it looks lovely!

I am the latest recruit of The Red Rose Society and I’m here to make this blog and our websites even better. 

Ive finished my second week and it’s given me a chance to meet the crew and get a feel for the place. My tea making skills have already been given the thumbs up by all concerned which is a great  sign ive been told!

As i said ive only been here two weeks but already helped the site undergo some fairly big changes, the most noticeable being the multi-column megafooter at the bottom of every page. It offers users quick access to some great areas of our site and google friendly links to hundreds of thousands of pages specific to each county and place name in the whole of the UK.

Not bad for two weeks work  hey! 

I wonder what this week has in store… I hear the Mistletoe and Holly has arrived from Tenbury Wells! 

We have so much fun on it, for example we experimented today by giving away 12 red roses… God we know how to have some fun hey!!!

The Red Rose Society hopes that everyone had a lovetastic Valentines this weekend, we did, and our Fancy Dress 10th birthday bash was a great success! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and to the best beer wench the grooviest 70′s dude could ever ask for who organized it all… Thanks xxx

And boy its a biggie from one of our regular customer in the armed forces…. His email goes like this…

Guys,
I know its early and your proberbly really busy with all your christmas deliverys and stuff but as usaual i’m not going to be in country for the next few months and would like to get valenties day sorted before i go, could i be a pain and ask you to do me a price for the following,

1 x 12″ platinum rose in the centre then round that 12 x black roses (dyed black or as close to black as humanly possible) then round them a mix of 12 x happy roses, 12 x blue roses, 12 x yellow roses, 12 x peach roses, 12 x pink roses.

Well we quoted him only £250 and bish bash bosh he snapped out hands off. Wow…. She is one very special and very lucky girl…

We have taken just a couple of pictures to show you what you missed. It really was a great day out for everyone and Lowestoft believed in a thing called Love once again!!!!
