The Eros Day story goes like this… In the beginning there was only a kind of chaos and out of it emerged self born Eros and one by one he gathered his friends and work colleagues Zeus, Psyche, Dionysus, Hades, Hypnos, Prometheus, Apollo, Aphrodite and Hercules together and they invented Eros Day on August the 14th 2002 and a year later after discovering that the Rock Band they formed actually had some fans they decided to actually step into the arena and think about actually singing a song!!! But 1st we needed some words??? And then a stage to sing them on!

• Because you would need a rare talent to win, and the Rockmantic Godsarians of Love talent is not just rare it’s extinct!
• With that name it would be great to hear what all the other countries try to translate it to.
• Simple, they have a fab name!
• becouse they can not be any worse then the entrants over the last few years
• Because I secretly know that they are all Terry Wogan’s love-children.
• Clearly no contest because love would flow throughout Europe
• Previous winners couldn’t sing – it would make a change….

• With a cheesy name like that, they’re bound to win!

• Because every once in a while a different take on Love songs should be made available to the masses.
• their costumes would sum up their name and give every listener/viewer a reality check in to the true meaning of love
• they would give love to all the rotters who dont normally vote for us
• I’d just love to see the name translated into Icelandic or hear the host from Belarus or Macedonia or some other weird sort of a place have to read ot the name.
• They have a great name and seems to have the drive and talent to do it after all as they say if Justin Hawkins can try why cant they.
• with a name like that they should stand a better chance of winning than some of our other entrances

• All the songs have the medium of love taken into account, trying really hard to get romance back into society. We need a lot more of this in the current climate and get people back to happy family values, that love each other, that partnerships work. I have been in a relationship for 20 years and we are still going strong. If this group can promote love then i think they should be entered.

At a time when everyone around the world is struggling, even now the richer nations, the one thing that you will always need is the love of and for another. And what better way to express that love but with a rose (a girls best friend). Throughout our evolution, leading up to now, the Rose has also been on its own evolutionary path. That it in its so pretty form has crossed paths with humanity now seems almost too perfect. Eurovision should be given the chance to agree!
• To spread the words of love over Europe as is their destiny.

• Talented,real musicians with a rocky edge, singing about love in a world of increasing violence. Eurovision ’09 ? Surely a better punt than Scootch!!?

The Eros Day 2006 competition winners are …
